Embroidery Digitizing Service That Turns Your Artwork Into Clean Stitch Files
You sent a perfect logo to your embroiderer and the sample came back with gaps in the fill, puckered fabric, and text nobody could read. Or you ran the artwork through auto digitizing software and the machine jammed at the third color change. We see this every week. The artwork was never the problem. The stitch file was.
An embroidery machine cannot read a JPG or a PNG, which is exactly why an embroidery digitizing service exists. The machine only follows a stitch file, a set of coded instructions that says where each stitch lands, in what order, and when the thread changes. Creating that file by hand, with real judgment about fabric, thread, and size, is what we do. For 13 years we have turned logos, artwork, and rough sketches into files that sew cleanly the first time.
Every order includes a free mockup, a flat quote before we start, and revisions until the file sews the way you pictured it. Send your artwork today and see what a properly digitized file can do.
What Embroidery Digitizing Is
Embroidery digitizing is the process of converting artwork, such as a company logo, into a stitch file that tells an embroidery machine exactly where every stitch goes.
A digitizer studies your artwork and redraws it as stitch types. Satin stitches handle borders and lettering. Fill stitches cover large areas. Running stitches capture fine detail. Every section gets a start point, an end point, a density setting, and a planned path, so the machine sews with minimal thread cutting and minimal pull on the fabric.
The finished file is usually saved as a DST file, the format nearly every commercial machine reads. If you are new to digitizing for embroidery, here is the short version. Good artwork plus skilled digitizing equals clean embroidery. Poor digitizing equals wasted garments.
Embroidery Digitizing Options We Handle
Not every design sews the same way. A left chest logo needs different settings than a full back design, and a cap needs different settings than a flat jacket. Our digitizing services cover the jobs shops ask for most.
Left chest logos and monograms
Small designs for polos, work shirts, and uniforms, built with clean small text and smooth outlines that stay readable at three inches wide.
Cap and hat digitizing
Designs built for the curved surface and thick center seam of a cap, with tuned density so the stitching stays flat on structured fronts.
Three dimensional puff
Raised foam lettering for caps and beanies, with full edge coverage so no foam shows through the thread.
Applique designs
Fabric pieces stitched in place with clean placement and tack down stitches, a smart choice for large designs and youth apparel.
Patches and emblems
Files prepared for patch production, including the edge path your patch maker needs for a clean merrowed border.
Small text and fine detail
Names, dates, and taglines digitized stitch by stitch, so they stay legible instead of melting into thread blobs.
Every custom embroidery digitizing project starts with your artwork and ends with a file matched to your fabric, your machine, and your design size.

What Affects Your Embroidery Digitizing Service Price
Not every design sews the same way. A left chest logo needs different settings than a full back design, and a cap needs different settings than a flat jacket. Our digitizing services cover the jobs shops ask for most.
Detail and small text. Fine detail takes careful manual work, and the quote reflects that.
Fabric type. Stretchy knits, structured caps, and delicate silks each need different settings, and tricky fabrics take more planning.
Number of designs. Each unique design is its own file. Repeats of the same file cost you nothing extra.
Turnaround needs. Standard timing keeps the price down. If you ever need a true rush, ask and we will quote it honestly.
Simple, Flat Quotes
Files arrive digitally, there is no shipping cost and no courier to wait on.

Embroidery Digitizing FAQs
A DST file is the stitch file format that nearly every commercial embroidery machine reads. It holds the coded instructions your machine follows: stitch placement, stitch order, and thread changes. When you order from us, the DST file is your main deliverable, and we include the other formats your machine brand needs on request.
The best starting point is a vector file such as AI, EPS, or PDF, or a clean high resolution image. That said, we work from JPGs, PNGs, and clear phone photos of sketches every day. If your artwork needs cleanup before it can be digitized, we will tell you before we quote.
Most designs are digitized within 3 to 6 hour of artwork approval. Your free mockup usually arrives first, so you can approve the look early. If you have a firm deadline, tell us up front and we will give you an honest answer about whether we can meet it.
Yes. Send us the existing file and tell us what is wrong: puckering, gaps, thread breaks, or lettering that sews poorly. We can adjust density, pathing, and underlay, or redigitize the design from scratch when a repair would take longer than a fresh start.
As a rule of thumb, standard block lettering stays readable down to about a quarter inch tall. Script fonts and fine serifs need to be larger. If your text is too small to sew cleanly, we will tell you during the quote and suggest the smallest size that will hold up.
Every job is quoted flat based on size, stitch count, and complexity, so you know the exact price before we begin. Most single designs fall in a modest fixed range, and our minimum order of $10 keeps small jobs simple. There are no surprise fees after you approve.
Then we fix it. Every order includes revisions, and your free mockup lets you catch issues before production. Tell us your machine brand and fabric when you order so the file is built for your setup from the start. If a sew out ever misbehaves, send a photo and we will adjust the file precisely.
